Privilege

I really enjoyed reading the essay. It was very intriguing and really brought to my attention certain aspects from our social society that I hadn't paid much attention too. I think that her essay ties in really well with the project that we are working on because, she too talked about Privilege and about how the Majorities ( Caucasians) have more incentive (for lack of a better word) then minorities do. The minorities being any other race that isn't white.
I also really liked the layout of her work I thought it flowed well and really helped me understand the points she was getting at in her essay.
However, I did notice she used some if not most of her sources were from Twitter. I had no idea we could use Social Networking sites as our research.

Case study (for class)

Okay so I just finished reading the case study templates. I have to say it does look a little intimidating and, I also think that adding the facts into the case stidy might be a little hard. 

I think what intimidates me the most is the part where we have to incorporate what we learned from. The websites we used. What I find interesting is comparing and contrasting the relationship between each set of people in my circle.

Personality (for class)

In the videos and also the small blog post we saw about introverts I think, what really depicts my personality as a person is that, I am an introverted person with a non-dominating personality. Also, as the youngest sibling in my family I also noticed  from the second video I watched that, I have a more of a humorous personality; according to the second video.
I think to have a personality it means to be yourself and, not like others around you. To have a personality is to express yourself differently as an individual upon others.
I do not believe that personality is fixed as in something that cannot change. I think that as you age your personality does change in the sense that, you grow out of things or people or places that you had attachments to and, that causes your personality to change slightly. I just think with age and with the experiences that you get as you age your personality changes with it.
In general I think that your environment and the way you are raised shapes who you are and your personality. I also think it has to do with the people you associate yourself with.
Personally, I think that my personality is shaped by my environment and also by the people I choose to associate myself with but, I also think that the experiences that I have been through in my life thus far have also had an impacting part in my mannerism and the way I am now.

One more thing!

I almost forgot! If you (anyone actually reading this blog) have any suggestions for books to read or shows to watch tell me about them! I love checking new things out! 
p.s I'm also going to be posting about things mentioned above. I'll be giving my reviews on them. 

New to this...

So as you can already tell I am very new to this blog and I'm just getting a hang of it. So, first of all, this blog was just suppose to be for a college course I am currently taking but, I really love to blog so I decided I'd use this blog for my own personal purposes also. Besides using this to meet the requirements for my class I also want to do things on this blog (post things) that interest me. So without further ado here are some of the things I'll be posting on my blog. - I think it would be fun to write short stories or chapters to stories on my blog and have weekly updates! I'm also going to link videos from Youtube that I recommend. I also want to post about food that I make and post recipes so that other people can try them and make them their own. Also I'm going to post hauls(for clothes, makeup etc..) and videos about said hauls. I also want to post things about current books I'm loving or movies that I enjoy or even makeup that I am currently loving. Last but not least, I'm going to obviously be posting about current events that are happening in my life.

My Traits (For Class)

The traits that I picked were Serious, Odd, and Kind. 
I picked these traits because I feel like they impact my personality in a certain way especially when I am at school. 
Serious- because I tend to taking schooling seriously and I'm not very enthusiastic and bubbly when I am at school. I think it is easier for me to be productive that way.
Odd- I picked odd because I tend to not follow what other people are doing. I like to float the boat a little if you catch my drift. (pun intended) 
Kind- Generally I am just a kind person. I treat people the way I would like to be treated and I think that speaks for its self.
